If I create a post I would like to insert a picture into the editor at the cursors position. Like one can do it on GitHub here.

User Problem

  • As an example if I create a description about the states of a plant growing I need to be able to have more than one picture mixed with text in my post.
  • Because we like to be a knowledge network.
  • I as the user must not upload the picture to somewhere else and then set a link to it.
  • There is no need to get your rights of the pictures to another platform.

Implementation

I write a post and then I like to drag & drop a picture into the editor and it should appear at the cursors position.

Additional context

Nice to have would be the possibilities of animated GIFs.
